CHILD LABOUR
What is child labour? -> Child labour refers to the employment of children at regular and sustained labour.
We all have the idea in our heads, but we keep forgetting about their hard lives. In this video we can see how hard their lives are and how easy is ours. Still, I have a question.. Why? Why is this happening?
We find child labour in factory work, mining, prostitution, quarrying, agriculture... It affect our lifes through clothing brands like GAP and H&M. Lots of the clothes we wear are made by children.
This map shows are shown the countries in which Child Labour takes place.
And why is Child Labour still going on? The causes are poverty, illiteracy, lack of education, ignorance and the culture of the country itself, because their parents have worked since they were children too.
How can we solve it? Maybe we all can do something. For example, not buying clothes made by factories which use children as employers. Small changes make a big difference in the end. The future is in our hands, and someday everything will work out.
Great job.
